About This Recipe
Mantı is more than food; it is a communal activity. Traditionally, women in a family would gather to roll, cut, and fold these tiny dumplings together, chatting for hours.
The gold standard for Mantı comes from the city of Kayseri. Legend says that a prospective bride in Kayseri was tested by how small she could make her dumplings—tradition demanded that 40 of them should fit into a single wooden spoon!
